Update: January 4
Hello Park Valley WTP & GTP families!
We are excited to be putting 2020 behind us and looking forward to resuming our WTP & GTP programs the weekend of January 9 & 10. As you may know, the Governor recently made the decision to allow youth sports to resume practicing beginning January 4. Here are the key take-aways from the new Youth Sports Guidance for the State of Minnesota:
Your participation in the WTP and GTP programs is VOLUNTARY and if you feel it is too early for your child to resume training, no problem! Just let us know via email to clubmanager@parkvalleyunitedfc.org that your child will not be returning.
Since it’s been a while, you can find your age group schedule, field assignment and field map on the PVU website here - https://www.parkvalleyunitedfc.org/camps
The Remaining training session dates are:
Winter training program: January 9, 10, 16,17, 23
Goalie training program: January 9, 16, 23
As a reminder, here are PVU COVID-19 Notification Policies:
Player with a positive Covid-19 test result:
Player with Direct Exposure to someone who tested positive for Covid-19.
All PVU guidelines and protocols have been established in accordance with our leagues, the MN Dept. of Health, State of MN “Stay Safe” guidelines and our facility. Attached is the MN Stay Safe Covid-19 Decision Tree
Finally, the PVU Board is still working on the refunds for the time missed in November/December. We will update our members as soon as our Board makes a decision on this.
Thank you,
PVU Staff
Update: November 19
Hello PVU Families,
You are receiving this message as a family who is registered for our WTP, GTP, and/or Futsal programs. As we’re sure you are aware, Governor Walz has placed a four-week “pause” on organized youth sports which includes all our winter programs. Therefore there will not be any weekend training or Wednesday futsal from Nov. 21-Dec 18. Should we be allowed to resume our winter programs after this “pause", we will train on Saturday December 19 and Sunday December 20 and Futsal will be held on Wednesday December 23.
At this time, we are working with our indoor facility partners on the unused time we are now faced with. We will communicate to you soon regarding any refund for the missed sessions.
We hope you stay healthy during this “pause” and look forward to seeing on the field again soon.
